We are proud to announce that Dr. Moon Jonghwan, Chief Aesthetic Director at Smile Dentistry Gubei, has successfully earned the DSD Master certification — the highest international credential in digital aesthetic dentistry.
What Is DSD Master Certification?
DSD (Digital Smile Design) is a globally recognized framework for smile aesthetics used by leading clinics worldwide. The DSD Master designation is the pinnacle of this system — requiring evaluation of hundreds of clinical cases, hands-on facial aesthetic design proficiency, and long-term occlusal follow-up assessments. Very few clinicians worldwide hold this credential.
What This Means for You as a Patient
DSD Master certification means Dr. Moon’s expertise goes far beyond tooth shade and shape. A DSD Master designs smiles by taking into account your entire facial structure — lip-tooth dynamics, facial proportions, and long-term bite stability — to deliver results that look naturally beautiful, not just cosmetically white.
For expats and international patients in Shanghai seeking veneer or smile makeover treatment, this means your case is handled by one of the most credentialed aesthetic dentists in the region.
